Avocado Roti



1 cup wholewheat flour
1 avocado
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
handful of chopped coriander and spinach mix
salt to taste
Chilli powder to taste


  • Mash the avocado to a pulp then add the lemon, cumin powder, salt and coriander/spinach mixture and mix until combined
  • Add the wholewheat flour and knead into a dough, adding a warm splash of water if required
  • Coat the dough with a drizzle of oil and let it rest for 15 minutes
  • Separate into equal balls and roll to the desired shape and thickness
  • Heat on a medium skillet, and when bubbles appear on the first side add a touch of oil before flipping to the other side. Flip again and then remove from the heatServe hot or cold with curry or just as a snack with tea!
