Garlic Mogo

 

Ingredients

1/2 bag frozen mogo (cassava) chips (available in your big supermarkets)
1 bunch fresh coriander
5-6 cloves of garlic
1/2 Green bell pepper
2 green chillies (or to taste)
1 lemon, juiced
Salt (to taste)
Pepper
2-3 tablespoons oil

Method

  • Simmer the cassava chips water for 20 mins (or until soft), then drain and cool
  • Blend all the other ingredients into a paste
  • Combine the cassava and paste together and let it sit in the fridge for at least 2hrs, if not over night
  • Oil a baking tray and get them in the oven for about 30 mins at 180degs or until crispy
  • Top with extra coriander and plenty of lemon/lime juice and enjoy
