Sound & Vision, Cancer Research’s annual fund raiser that “brings together the music and creative industries in the magical venue of Abbey Road Studios for a spectacular evening of entertainment” was held on February 26. While the WHAM team attending failed to take the obligatory “walking across the zebra crossing” pic, they did manage to have a fine time supping champers, bidding on classic Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan photos (we were outbid on both, sadly) and generally enjoying the positive vibe of the evening as Paul Weller, Kelly Jones and Lemar entertained the crowd.
Great speeches were given by Cancer Research CEO Harpal Kumar, along with patrons Bob Harris and Sir George Martin, with much money raised for further research during the evening. View the site created by WHAM for the event by visiting www.soundandvisionofficial.com.
